About CSA

Chinese Student Association is one of the oldest cultural student organizations on campus at the University of Texas at Austin. Since 1947, we have been dedicated to promoting Chinese culture and helping members find their home on campus. We welcome anyone who is interested in Chinese culture or wants to meet new people. We hope to see you at one of our general meetings or events soon!

Who We Are

CSALogo.png

Founded in 1947, the Chinese Student Association at the University of Texas at Austin is one of the oldest cultural student organizations on campus. We strive to promote Chinese culture at UT and in the Austin community. Each year, we host the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is our biggest campus-wide event to celebrate the holiday.

We participate in UT intramural sports and have many other cool activities throughout the school year, such as dumpling-making events and Famlympics. We welcome anyone and everyone interested in Chinese culture or just wants to meet new people and make new friends. Members are split into families so that everyone has the chance to get to know other members a little better and the fams have different family hangouts every week! Learn more about the fams in the "Meet the Fams" tab!

We have bi-weekly meetings in which we update members on all things CSA, and families compete against each other in fun activities. Throughout the year, families earn points for being active, and at the end of the year, the winning family will receive a big prize! We hope to see you at one of our general meetings soon!
